What we collect
DropHood is a decentralized application. To verify that you are physically inside a campaign zone, your browser shares your GPS coordinates with our server at the moment you claim. We use them only to check the distance to the campaign center and to sign a claim voucher. Your exact coordinates are never written on-chain — only a salted hash of a campaign's center is stored publicly.
Cookies & analytics
We use only essential storage required for wallet connection and to remember your cookie choice. For product analytics we use a privacy-first, cookieless tool (Plausible) that measures aggregate usage — page views and anonymous funnel events like “claim” or “share”. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track you across other sites or build an advertising profile. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
On-chain data
Blockchain transactions (claims, campaign creation) are public and permanent by nature. Your wallet address and claim history are visible on Robinhood Chain and cannot be deleted by us.
Wallets & third parties
Connecting a wallet is handled by your wallet provider (e.g. MetaMask, WalletConnect). Their own privacy terms apply to the data they process.
