How a Proof of Hood is earned
You can't buy one and you can't farm one from a laptop. A Proof of Hood is minted as part of a claim: you were inside the drop's radius (GPS-verified against a salted hash — your exact coordinates never go on-chain), you entered the code displayed at the venue, and the claim settled on Robinhood Chain. The NFT is the receipt.
Proof of Hood vs POAP
- POAP is opt-in attendance: an organizer hands out a mint link or QR, and it attests you attended an event. It's a badge.
- Proof of Hood is earned through a rewarded, GPS-verified claim: it attests you were inside a specific geofence and passed the on-site check — and it comes attached to an actual token reward, not instead of one.
- POAP links can leak and get farmed remotely; a Proof of Hood requires passing a location check plus a code that only exists physically at the venue.

Every wallet gets a public Proof of Hood page showing the drops it claimed and the cities it showed up in — shareable proof that you were early, in person. Over time, a wallet's hood becomes something no farm can fake: a history of real presence.
